This newspaper pot maker is perfect for creating seedling pots with old newspaper, reducing the need for plastic. The newspaper pot and seedling are planted as a whole into a garden bed or pot. A bit of carbon and protection against pests added in too!
The pot is quick and easy to make and becomes a container to transport or grow seedlings in ready for transplanting. Kids can easily make these pots.
This is an economic and eco-friendly alternative to plastic pots when giving plants away or selling seedlings at markets or school fetes.

These newspaper pot makers are made using recycled pine timber which is sourced from factory refuse containers, thus reducing landfill. Most of the timber is reclaimed from packing crates or pallets and is locally grown Pinus radiata. Sometimes the reclaimed crates come from outside Australia so the pine is of unknown species. All pine used is untreated.
