Metal and Wooden Compost Sieve To Fit Over Wheelbarrow
Making compost at home is one of the most important things we can do to create nutrient rich soil, reduce food and plant waste in landfill and sink carbon back into the soil. Homemade compost often includes larger chunks of material which can make it difficult to work with.
Our Wooden Compost Sieve is designed to fit over a standard-sized wheel barrow. Simply load your compost onto the sieve and agitate it through the galvanised metal mesh. Larger chunks of material can be separated out and returned to the compost pile.
We supply two mesh sizes to sieve to a fine or chunkier consistency, leaving you with a barrowload of nutrient-rich compost for your garden.
The Compost Sieve can also be used to remove rocks and other large material from garden soil – perfect for harvesting pot grown potatoes!
Hand Made in Australia
Sturdy, durable compost sieves like these ones are hard to find. Ours are locally made with skill and care by the excellent craftsmen of the Victoria Park Mens Shed, and we are thrilled to be able to offer them to our customers.
