Long Handled Heavy Duty Gardening Tool for Removing Weeds
The Daisy Weeder is a long reach tool for removing weeds with tap roots. The long handle helps the body to stay upright to reduce back strain.
The hand bent head is made from 3mm high carbon steel and heat treated for strength and edge holding ability. It has a foot plate and long curved fork tynes for easy penetration into the soil. The forks are sharpened on both faces to lock onto the tap root deep beneath the surface.
The large radius pivot point along with the long hardwood handle create excellent leverage to lift the weed (root intact) from the soil.
This weeder is ideal for weeds with tap roots such as Daisies, Dock, Thistles and Dandelions, but also suitable for many other weeds.
